(ok/pcp-wm) With the MICHEL Overseas Volume 2, Part 1 Caribbean Islands A-J 2019/2020 from the MICHEL Overseas Series, the reworking of stamps from the Caribbean begins. This first Caribbean volume contains stamps from Anguilla to Jamaica.

When revising this volume, it is particularly striking how much the issue policy of these countries has changed over the past five to ten years. Around the year 2000 and beyond, the Caribbean was the leading spending country in the world. In the meantime, a clear change has taken place: for years there have been no new stamps from many countries, and considerably fewer from the others. Collectors can now stay up to date and devote themselves to the issues of the past.

The latest information on these fields of collecting can be found in this volume. The ratings have been revised and reflect the current market situation. This resulted in numerous new ratings.

At many places additional new information was inserted. There is also a large number of new coloured pictures. Not only were previous black-and-white pictures replaced by coloured ones, a large number of new pictures also show stamps not previously shown. This makes it even easier to find the stamp you are looking for in MICHEL.

The hardcover catalogue with 1 184 pages, 14 500 illustrations and about 82 000 price quotations is available for 89.00 Euro from 6 September 2019 in specialist and bookstores. ISBN 978-3-95402-996-9.
