The Philatelic Federation of Norway has appointed Kjell Åge Johansen as the new editor of its magazine, Norsk Filatelistisk Tidskrift (NFT). Mr Johansen has an impressive background in philately and has been a prominent figure in the Norwegian philatelic community for many years.
Among other things, he has been a member of Oslo Filatelistklubb since 1973 and its librarian since 1996, as well as a member of the Norgeskatalogkommité since 2000. He is also Norway’s delegate to the FIP Literature Commission.
The latest issue of the NFT is No. 2, which has 64 pages. Articles include Ivar Sundsbø on how to detect forgeries, Geir Sør-Reime on collecting models of mail cars and Helge Fritsen on mail from the whaling ship D/S Kit.
