On Thursday 18, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April 2019, the National Exhibition GOUDA 2019 will be held in the sportscenter ‘De Mammoet’ in Gouda (The Netherlands). It concerns an exhibition in the Categories 1, 2, propaganda and literature. At the same time and at the same venue as GOUDA 2019, the 26th edition of the International Stamp and Cover Fair (‘Brievenbeurs’) will be held.
The exhibition consists of approximately 770 frames with international participation by members of the Belgian ‘Landsbond’ and participants from five other countries. A separate corner will be set up for collections of members of the Royal Philatelic Society, London. The exhibition is interactive: the public may award an honorary prize to one of the collections, propaganda collections included. Each collection has a QR code for more information on smartphones.
More than 60 exhibitors will be present at the fair, including 34 dealers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Denmark, France and Sweden. They present a wide variety of covers, stationary, postal items, stamps and other philatelic material.
The theme of the exhibition is “Striking events”. The Dutch philatelic monthly ‘Filatelie’ and the exhibition catalogue will contain various interesting articles on this chosen theme. Main sponsor is Corinphila Veilingen.
