The Zurich-based auctioneer, Corinphila, traces its antecedents to E. Luder & Co., the firm founded by Eduard Luder, together with his father Ulrich Luder in 1919. Its first auction was held in 1925. In 1935, the company started operating under the name ‘Corinphila’ (‘Corporation Internationale de Philatélie’, or International Philatelists Corporation). Over the last 100 years the firm has established itself as one of the foremost auction houses in the world.
Jonas ̉Hällström, the company’s partner and Managing Director, and a noted bibliophile, has written a bibliography of all the Corinphila sales over the last 100 years. The first set of printed copies of this book was circulated with the US-based ‘Collectors Club Philatelist’ in July 2026 (edition of 710 copied printed in USA). Another 3,750 copies printed in Germany are being distributed with the firm’s in-house journal, Corinphila Gazette # 14, to collectors and customers all over the world.
The contents page is appended below. The work can also be downloaded for free from Corinphila’s website.
