The International Philatelic Literature Exhibition – ITALIA 2026 – will be held at Rome from 15 to 18 October 2026. It enjoys both FEPA and AIJP Patronage.
The organisers have now announced a very special Grand Prix, courtesy of The Global Philatelic Network. It is the complete and exclusive Edition of The ERIVAN Sales – Bibliophile Edition.
The dispersal of the collection of the German industrialist, Erivan Haub (1932-2018) is considered as the most comprehensive single-owner sale of recent times. It featured world rarities as well as stamps and postal history of the German States, Confederate and United States of America, Austria & Lombardy-Venetia, Swiss Cantonal and Federal stamps, and Zeppelin Mail.
The Haub sale had 7,000 lots across a total of 4,300 catalogue pages and was held over five years. The Bibliophile edition contains these lots split up by collecting area and re-sorted; it also includes prices realised for all lots. It comprises 29 volumes in eight slipcases – 17 volumes of the auctions of Heinrich Köhler, 8 volumes of the auctions at H.R. Harmer, 3 volumes of auctions of Corinphila, and one joint “ERIVAN-Worldwide Rarities” of the Global Philatelic Network.
