On 24 May at 1 PM in Boston, a deluxe hard-bound coffee table book titled “Gems of Boston 2026” was released (sorry, no photo available as yet).
The 280+ page book depicts many of the great rarities on display at the exposition. It features full color photos of stamps, postal stationery, covers and other philatelic items shown among the Court of Honor, Invited Exhibits, Champion of Champions, FIP and non-competitive frames. Additional details provided by their owners appear alongside.
The book will not be mailed and all must be picked up at the APS booth during the show. They cost $125 each at the APS booth. Attending exhibitors may purchase one of these at the show at half-price, $62.50, when presenting their exhibitor badge to the APS staff. Non-attending exhibitors must make arrangements through their national commissioner to obtain a discounted copy.
So, if you are interested in a copy, talk to a friend or colleague attending the show and request them to pick a copy for you. Remember, the show ends on 30 May.
