(BDPh / Berlin/Essen). Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) patronizes the International World Stamp Exhibition (IBRA) 2021 in Essen.

The Chancellor’s Office has now informed the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten e.V. in Bonn of this. “We are very pleased about this positive news from Berlin,” said BDPh President Alfred Schmidt. The IBRA will take place from 6 to 9 May 2021.
The preparations for the exhibition with 2,800 frames have started. A few weeks ago the president of the FIP, Bernard Beston, and his vice-president Reinaldo Macedo visited the exhibition halls in Essen together with the BDPh board.
