The acronym DEBRA stands for the international “German-Brazilian Exhibition”, i.e. a rank 1 exhibition to be held in Haldensleben from 27 to 30 June 2024. In a letter dated 19 October 2023, the President of the BDPh, Alfred Schmidt, asked the AIJP for the award of its patronage and for the active support of AIJP members (authors and specialist journalists). “We associate this with the hope of a strong literature class. The organiser will ensure that the line-up of the literature jury will ensure proper evaluation of all literature classes, irrespective of whether it is research literature, documentary literature or digital media.” Meanwhile, the AIJP announced that, similar to NAPOSTA 2020 in Haldensleben, it is happy to comply with the request and will be committed to supporting and promoting DEBRA 2024.
