This brochure provides more in-depth insights into the collection, as the author presents not only the groups of the collection, but also selected examples of special titles that illustrate the characteristics of the way and what Bjäringer collected in around 50 years: rarity and beauty, good preservation and special features. Limited editions or even very small print runs with numbered copies, dedications and signatures are just a few of the numerous examples of these literary treasures. You can read up on them on around 60 pages.
The auction will take place in Wiesbaden on 15 November 2025, and the special ‘bibliophile’ auction catalogue – far more extensive than ‘normal’ auction catalogues for such occasions – will be available and sent to interested parties as early as August 2025. To top off this extraordinary event and to highlight the importance of philatelic literature, the auction house Heinrich Koehler, in cooperation with the AIJP, the world association of philatelic authors and journalists, will host an international philatelic literature congress in Wiesbaden on 13 and 14 November, for which preparations are already underway. It will certainly be an exciting event.
