(wm-AIJP/pcp) In the search for a new auditor – the Swiss Gerhard Kraner held this office for many years during his lifetime – Treasurer Hans Schwarz has now found what he was looking for after failing to find a suitable candidate in the previous year. Kraner’s possible successor is Roland Herzog, who will be standing for election at the upcoming AIJP Congress in Bucharest.
Briefly about his CV. Roland Herzog is a trained banker and moved into the shoe retail sector in 1998. Various positions in sales led him to become Managing Director of a leading German shoe brand in Switzerland. After 21 years with the same company, he decided to realise his big dream. In 2019, he founded Philamondo GmbH and has since dedicated himself to buying and selling stamps, coins and postcards. Roland Herzog has been an enthusiastic collector since his youth and is particularly well versed in aerophilately. He now makes his knowledge, his experience and his large, well-maintained stock available to interested customers and collectors.
