10.05.2017 - First STOCKHOLMIA 2019 Bulletin has been published

(wm) In 2019, the Royal Philatelic Society of London (RPSL), the oldest philatelic association in the world, will become 150 years old. To celebrate this jubilee, a team of Scandinavian and British philatelists has decided to host an international philatelic exhibition in Stockholm; it will take place from 29 May to 2 June 2019.
Bulletin 1 of the exhibition, STOCKHOLMIA 2019, has recently been published. In it, the organizers promise that the event will follow the tradition of earlier legendary STOCKHOLMIA exhibitions. "Think big" seems to be the motto of the organizing committee: Bulletin 1 contains more than 90 pages. It is exceptionally in graphics and design and it contains almost everything that you wish to know about the upcoming event. Information can be found about participation and about tourism opportunities. The background of the exhibition is described and you will find information about participating dealers; about the partners and sponsors of the event (the AIJP is one of them) and about a lot more.
Members of the Royal Philatelic Society of London will receive Bulletin 1 with the May edition of their official organ, The London Philatelist. Members of the AIJP will find Bulletin in the same envelope that contains the July issue of the official AIJP magazine "The Philatelic Journalist". The Bulletin is available for other interested parties, if they are prepared postage and packing (Germany: 1.45 Euro). You may contact Wolfgang Maassen, Vogelsrather Weg 27, 41366 Schwalmtal (Germany).
