28.10.2016 - Personalised stamp for Dutch stamp magazine Filatelie

Earlier this month, the philatelic event ‘Postex’ was hold in Apeldoorn (the Netherlands). During the fair-cum-exhibition a special personalised stamp was baptised. The stamp, that was sold in mini-sheets of ten stamps, was issued on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Holland’s largest stamp magazine, ‘Filatelie’. The anniversary will be celebrated next year; ‘Filatelie’ (at that time still carrying the title ‘Nederlandsch Maandblad voor Philatelie) first appeared in 1922.
On the photograph we see one of the organizers of Postex, Mr Ben Mol (left), receiving the first copy of the ‘Filatelie’ jubilee souvenir sheet.
Copies of the stamp sheet - only in mint never hinged condition – may still available; please check with the Editor of ‘Filatelie’, René Hillesum (hillesum@filatelist.com).
