The Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander has photographed his three daughters Amalia, Alexia and Arian. The pictures will be used for the design of the Dutch surcharge stamps known as ‘Kinderpostzegels’. The prince has done the same as his father, Prince Claus, who also, forty years ago, took photographs of his three sons, for the Children Stamps of that year (1972).

With his photographs, Willem-Alexander contributes to the Dutch Children´s Stamp Campaign. At the start of that action, on 26 September 2012, the definitive images of the Kinderpostzegels will presented for the first time. From that moment on, over 200,000 school children will do their utmost to sell as much Kinderpostzegels as possible.

The proceeds of the Children Stamps action will be donated to projects around the world, aimed at the safety and development of vulnerable children.
