On sale since 16 November 2011: an official Christmas stamp issued by the German private postal company ‘Citykurier!’. The stamp, that has been produced in close co-operation with Köhler Kunsthandwerk of Eppendorf (Erzgebirge), pictures Santas from both sexes. It concerns men and women who in the year 2004 were awarded with the design prize ‘Tradition+form’. The stamp has been printed in a circulation of 30.000 copies that bear the value €0.49.

What also has become recently available is the first part of a new postage stamp series called ‘Thuringian town halls’, designed by Manfred Gotschall. The series will be continued in 2012 with pictures of other buildings. At the moment, six different designs are available, each with a value of €0.49. They can be ordered individually, on a special First Day Cover and as a souvenir sheet.
