Thanks to the mediation and the support of the German publishing house Phil*Creativ Verlag, the AIJP has been able to set up a cooperation agreement with the much-visited website www.philasearch.com.

PhilaSearch is probably the world´s most visited philatelic portal; it presents among others countless auction sites, where one can also bid live and make use of various interesting offers, also from the area of philatelic literature. Those AIJP members who are acting as independent authors, self-publishers or owners of small publishing houses will, in future, have the opportunity to offer their publications free of charge. The new service makes the membership of the AIJP even more worthwhile than before.

At the moment, the new service is in its testing phase. It is expected that, with entrance from April or May (you will be notified about this in the upcoming edition of ‘The Philatelic Journalist’), the service will become operational. Members wishing to make use of the service will have to send in an image file of the cover of their publication(s), as well as an accompanying text that describes the publication(s) and provides details about how to order it/them. We will come back to it later.
