In the middle of October 2006, the latest issue of the AIJP Bulletin will be published, this time containing over 100 pages, each one of them filled to the brim with useful information for philatelic journalists and authors. Together, the three editions of the Bulletin that appear(ed) in 2006, offer almost 350 pages of texts and illustrations, with information mainly in German and English. These issues cover a broad range of subjects, varying from items about graphic design to articles about research, software and so on. One of the goals the AIJP wants to realize by publishing its Bulletin and by maintaining its website www.aijp.org, is to give members and readers an overview of the activities and the work of the AIPJ members all over the world. The AIJP is prepared to act as the representative of its members, as far as contacts with philatelic organizations, postal authorities, dealers and auctions are concerned. The AIJP co-operates with all of these institutions, in order to look after the interests of its members as well as possible.

Becoming a member of the AIJP is easy. For the modest sum of 30 Euros per year one can join this active community of authors and journalists. Becoming a member is also profitable, because being a member has many advantages, ranging from being informed about the many aspects of the profession of philatelic journalist or philatelic author, to being introduced to the world of professional philately!
