Two new exhibitions in Europe are planed. They will find worldwide attention for the special reason that they are connecting to the tradition of big exhibitions of earlier years in this cities. There will be a PRAGA 2008 as specialized exhibition in Prague 2008 that accomplishes/runs parallel to the collector’s fair SBERATEL / SAMMLER / COLLECTOR from the 12th to the 14th September. From autumn 2006 on a special issue stamp and a block will inform about the happening that is worth seeing – as AIJP-member Miroslaw Langhammer tells.

In 2010 London will celebrate its “Festival of Stamps” which comes with the “LONDON 2010” from the 8th to the 15th May in the Business Design Center. This festival will include a large number of other special events that the city also organizes to prepare itself for Olympia 2012. Besides The Royal Mail, The British Postal Museum and its archive, The Royal Philatelic Society, The Royal Philatelic Collection and The British Library Philatelic Collection also The Philatelic Traders Society and the Association of British Philatelic Societies are committed.

The next WIPA, the WIPA 2008 in Vienna that is likely to happen in October is already announced. There are thoughts about another IBRA (2009) in Germany that the Federation of German Philatelists still has to definitely decide. These two exhibitions would be organized as European FEPA-exhibitions.

Members of the International Federation of philatelic Authors and Journalists are going to participate actively in all mentioned exhibitions.
