15.03.2017 - Arnim Hölzer resigns as President of the APHV (Germany)

(aphv) The President of the Association of German Stamp Dealers (APHV), Arnim Hölzer, has resigned with effect from 16 March of this year. Mr. Hölzer has served in this function for exactly ten years: he has been President of the organization since March 2007. It is for health reasons that he has decided to step down.
Mr. Hölzer has expressed his warmest thanks to all his APHV colleagues for their long-standing trust and cooperation, especially Managing Director Thomas Brückel and the other members of the Management Board. Arnim Hölzer: ‘Working for the APHV, a privilege that I had for more than 35 years, gave me great pleasure and has enabled me to get acquainted with many sympathetic colleagues. I wish the APHV all the best for the future.’
Already at the end of last year, Mr. Hölzer closed his well-known stamp specialist’s shop in the German town of Leichlingen. In line with the statutes of the APHV, the first vice president of the APHV, Wolfgang Lang, will take over the former President’s activities.
