24.02.2016 - Postal Administration of Liechtenstein Post sells its daughter DIG

(lp) The postal administration of Liechtenstein, Liechtensteinische Post AG, has sold one of its subsidiaries, DIG in Linz. The sale took place on 10 February of this year, but it will be retroactive to 31 December 2015. DIG is a company that offers computer services; it converts file formats for commercial customers wishing to perform flawless data exchange. DIG has been bought by the existing management of the company. A purchase price has not been disclosed.
Early 2015, Liechtensteinische Post had a thorough look at its subsidiary DIG. The conclusion was that the company was no longer of strategic importance and also that Liechtensteinische Post AG was not the most obvious owner. The assessment was triggered by the failure to integrate DIG in the activities of the Liechtenstein Post. The integration process came to an definitive halt in the second part of 2014.
